1. Al Fatihah Verse: 7 Descent : Makki Translation: The Opening بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful |

(1) الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ (1) Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; |
|
(2) الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ (2) Most Gracious, Most Merciful; |
|
(3) مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ (3) Master of the Day of Judgment. |
|
(4) إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ (4) Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. |
|
(5) اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ (5) Show us the straight way, |
|
(6) صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ (6) The way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, |
|
(7) غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ (7) Those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray. |
